Welcome to the first edition of Project Shoutout, where we share some of the good people and projects we’ve been working with over the past couple of months. This gives us a chance to raise a glass in thanks to the businesses that are working hard to bring amazing experiences to their customers. Let’s dive in!
The Creative Exchange
The Creative Exchange is a high-end content studio and social media agency with offices in Raleigh, Brooklyn, LA and DC. Founder Anna Sullivan reached out for us to create a power-punch brochure that would draw the eye to a very specific and high-level kind of clientele. It needed to showcase the creative personality and professionalism that is every part of what The Creative Exchange stands for.
Custom printed with gold foil, these posters are rolled up and sealed with a die cut sticker that broken, unleash your potential. A combination of illustration work and strategic layout makes this poster not only something to intrigue potential clientele, but something they will hold on to and remember The Creative Exchange by.
So, did we hit the mark? Hear it from Anna herself: “OMG – THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!” Aw shucks.
Toros Cantina
From the family that has been creating incredible latin food experiences in the Triangle for over 20 years, including Jose and Sons, Cortez, El Rodeo, La Rancherita and Totopos comes Toros Cantina, the brainchild of Maria Ornelas. Maria and her husband are branching out to Oxford, NC to launch their new Mexican restaurant and needed a strong brand identity to kick-off the vibe.
Calling on MRC, Toros Cantina had a vision of a brand identity that looks like it has always been there. A bold, masculine aesthetic to fit with the build out and audience of the restaurant. With direction like that, and name like Toros Cantina, we had no shortage of fun creating their new identity.
Thanks to Maria and her family for letting us be a part of the fun!
Donovan’s Dish
Over the last 6 years, we’ve been having a blast working with Donovan’s Dish, seeing them grow into an award-winning catering company and then expanding their offerings into both deliveries and storefront markets. With their 6 year anniversary right around the corner, we thought what better way to celebrate than rockin’ a giveaway like only they know how to do: Dinner for 4 – for 4 weeks!
The 4 for 4 Giveaway gives participants the chance to win a meal for four people (delivered hot to their door!), once a week, for a whole month! With amazingly delicious Shrimp and Grits, Chicken Enchiladas, Pimento Cheese Stuffed Chicken and more on the menu, this was a giveaway that drew in a lot of attention.
We built out a full email and social campaign for participants to enter and win, incorporating newly branded icons with custom food photography. In just over one week, Donovan’s Dish collected over 400 emails from the efforts of the campaign.
The giveaway was a great way to thank current customers and excite new ones.
That’s it for this edition! Don’t miss our upcoming Project Shoutouts, by signing up for our newsletter where you’ll get a low frequency of high dosage emails.
