Parkside Restaurant
Raleigh Warehouse District
Raleigh native, sommelier and owner Todd Henderson had recently come back to town after spending a few years in Austin, Texas working as a general manager of another successful restaurant. After nearly 20 years in the industry, it was time for him to take those skills to the next level. Enter Parkside Restaurant.
Residing in a beautiful historic building in Raleigh’s warehouse district, the vision of Parkside was for a true neighborhood restaurant for today’s discerning foodies. Here you’ll find the classic meat and three plates, but not without sharing the menu with vegan and gluten-free options.
Todd and his team connected with us to help them shape their brand identity, through logo design, menus, signage, website design & development, and more. Our designs were crafted after studying various restaurants, diners and cafes that have stood the test of time in their respective historic neighborhoods. Being that they are directly across from Nash Square, one of Raleigh’s last remaining planned parks, we also incorporated an Oak tree “P” in some of the key supplemental graphics. The gold and green color scheme finish the design, blending vintage urban with nature’s respite.
