The engineering firm WithersRavenel came to us with 30+ years of high-quality work for the public and private sector. Unfortunately, their brand aesthetic didn’t reflect its growing position as a passionate and forward-thinking partner for their clients. Newly of ESOP status, it was also important for them to convey the value they place in the team; one that is truly invested in the success of every project.
An identity and language was developed that was not only authentic to who they are now, but also clearly articulated a message of progress and partnership. The new logo had multiple changes: The logo name was shortened from Withers & Ravenel to simply WithersRavenel. We also created a new badge icon that could now be stamped on engineering plans, stitched on corporate apparel, routed out on 3D signage or printed on business cards. The dark maroon was replaced with more uplifting earth tones of green and brown. A new responsive website was developed with high-end custom photography, branded language and video content that further iterates the brand story. A company intranet was also developed, which created a dynamic communication outlet for their employees.
