Help the Web
Help the Web is a startup organization working to make the web more accessible to users with disabilities through education, consultation and free website accessibility tools. Through our conversations with founder Ryan Long, it became clear that this brand needed to stand out in a sea of corporate, "big tech" website accessibility tools. This brand needed to exude friendliness, support, fun and lightheartedness.
With the goal of turning every day websites in accessibility superheros, we crafted a logo that draws inspiration from a Batman's Bat-Signal, projecting into the sky and summoning the superhero. And to lend a helping hand is the brand's mascot, Mr World Wide.
As the brand's accessibility ambassador, Mr World Wide is inviting and friendly. There's nothing he loves more than making a website keyboard friendly for all to enjoy. And although he'll be the first to point out your website's flaws, he'll also be the first to lend a helping hand.
So, are you ready to become an accessibility superhero?
